Matthew Harcourt-Poole
Matt is a Solicitor in the Family Team at Parry Carver and can advise clients on a wide range of family law issues, with a particular interest in disputes concerning the arrangements for, and welfare of, children.
Matt obtained a 1st Class LLB law degree at the University of Wolverhampton before going on to complete his LPC at the same institution, achieving a distinction. He qualified as a solicitor in July 2022, although he has significant pre-qualification experience handling a varied caseload of family matters. Matt joined the team at Parry Carver in January 2023, having previously worked in a Legal 500 rated family team at a regional firm in the West Midlands, a prominent high street practice in Stafford, and a well regarded firm local to Shropshire.
Matt describes himself as friendly, caring, and understanding, and prides himself on providing clear, honest and pragmatic advice, whilst robustly defending his client’s best interests.
Away from work Matt is a keen golfer, and enjoys spending time with his friends, family, and his Labradoodle, Monty.
